Shiva the name of the Lord is a mantra. The meaning of Shiva is "One Who is all Bliss and the giver of happiness to all." Lord Shiva is considered as one of the Trinity of Hindu pantheon (Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva). He is the supreme God in the Saiva religion (one among the six cults or religion or Shanmatha established by Adi Sankaracharya) or Saiva Siddhanta tradition of Hinduism. His name is referred as Rudra in Rig veda. ‘Although classically applied to the Absolute Brahman, Shiva can also refer to God (Ishwara) in His aspect of Dissolver and Liberator (often mistakenly thought of as "destroyer")’

This registeration is absolutely free and the only purpose of asking for a few details is to enable devotees to communicate amongst themselves and with the God through this site. Besides, the Devotee ID and Password are also required to make use of any of the Online Services being providing on the official website of mahadev. in Board.

To obtain a Devotee ID and Password one would need to register on the website as a Devotee and select a Devotee ID and Password, as per the availability and choice of the devotee.

The Devotee Id and Password are also required to Track the booking/transactions being done by the devotees though this website and posting experiences on the message board in the Devotee Zone. Kindly note down the Devotee ID and Password carefully and use it to access the bulletin boards or to make a wish.

Devotees are requested to provide genuine details regarding Name, address, email, phone numbers etc. as these shall be required for correspondence, if the need be.

Please note: I have not aimed at making any kind of trendy or shiny look for this design. I prefer to keep it clean and simple, and let others add the details that will make the design special and unique.
